You’ll lead initiatives that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and cross-functional collaboration while managing critical areas like asset accounting, tax compliance, and financial reporting.

As a key member of our finance team, you’ll be responsible for optimizing financial operations and ensuring the integrity of our financial data. You’ll lead initiatives that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and cross-functional collaboration while managing critical areas like asset accounting, tax compliance, and financial reporting.
Senior Accountant Responsibilities:
- Champion continuous improvement in financial processes and team collaboration
- Ensure financial documentation is complete, accurate, and secure
- Manage fixed asset accounting: acquisitions, depreciation, transfers, and retirements
- Lead fixed asset inventory audits and maintain detailed records
- Prepare and manage the annual CAPEX budget and ROI documentation for projects
- Handle personal property tax returns, payments, and maintain related records
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
- Analyze inventory, cost, expense, and labor data for insights and reporting
- Perform journal entries and GAAP-based adjustments
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure financial accuracy
- Collaborate with AP, AR, Purchasing, Finance, and IT teams
- Provide backup and strategic support to the Controller and Assistant Controller
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Strong understanding of GAAP and fixed asset accounting
- Extensive knowledge of cost accounting and margin analysis
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- A proactive mindset with a passion for process improvement and cross-functional teamwork
