Position: Director of eCommerce & DTC
Salary: $100,000-150,000

Responsibilities of the Director of eCommerce & DTC:

  • Own and manager PPC strategy across Meta, Google, Tiktok Ads, Amazon Ads, or other platforms
  • Oversee and guide organic social strategy across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and others
  • Plan, launch, test, and scale campaigns
  • Manage and optimize six and seven-figure monthly ad budgets
  • Continuously improve ROAS, CPC, CAC, LTV, and contribution margin
  • Own end-to-end creative strategy for all paid and organic media
  • Direct & produce short form video ads, static & motion graphics, product demos - Working hands-on with videography, lighting, framing, audio, editing, and pacing
  • Build creative testing systems (hooks, angles, formats, CTAs)
  • Design, build, or heavily influence high-converting landing pages
  • Collaborate with development and design teams
  • Own full-funnel conversion optimization
  • Own performance tracking and reporting across all platforms - build dashboards & reporting

Preferred Experience of the Director of eCommerce & DTC:

  • 10+ years of hands-on PPC (Pay-per-click) experience (not agency oversight only)
  • Proven track record scaling DTC or performance-driven brands with case studies and examples
  • Deep expertise in Meta Ads, Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube, Performance Max), TikTok Ads
  • Strong understanding of direct-response marketing principles
  • Advanced experience with creative testing frameworks
  • HTML knowledge & experience
  • Hands-on videography and video editing experience
  • Strong landing page and funnel optimization background
  • Comfortable managing large budgets and making high-stakes decisions
  • Highly analytical with strong business intuition, experience with Google Analytics (GA4)
  • Self-directed, fast-moving, and accountable
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in marketing/advertising

Bonus Experience of the Director of eCommerce & DTC:

  • Experience in consumer electronics, communications, or hardware products
  • Experience working with founder-led brands
  • UGC creator management experience
  • CRO tools (Hyros, etc.)
  • Experience building internal creative teams
  • Experience scaling products into retail or omnichannel environments
