Senior Project Accountant
Salary: $80,000 – $100,000 + bonus
Location: Chicagoland area (hybrid after training)

Key Responsibilities for the Senior Project Accountant:
• Support multiple active projects as a Project Accountant, managing project setup, billing schedules, and monthly owner billings
• Coordinate subcontractor billings, compliance, and change orders while maintaining accurate job cost records
• Partner with Project Managers to manage draws, billing packages, and project financial tracking as a Senior Project Accountant
• Support month-end close activities and ensure timely, accurate project-level reporting as a Senior Project Accountant
Qualifications for the Senior Project Accountant:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required (or equivalent experience)
• 4–8 years of experience in construction or Senior Project Accountant roles, ideally with a GC or high-volume subcontractor
• Strong understanding of construction billing, job cost accounting, and project closeout processes
• Detail-oriented Senior Project Accountant with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
