Retail Leaders: Ready for Your Next Chapter?
A career that still uses your people skills — without the nights, weekends, or holiday chaos.
You’ve built a strong career in retail. You know how to lead teams, coach and develop people, solve problems in real time, and create memorable customer experiences. You juggle a million moving pieces, and you do it well — even when things get busy, unpredictable, or downright chaotic.
But recently, something’s been on your mind:
-
You want a new challenge outside the mall.
-
You love developing people — but want to channel that into a different kind of impact.
-
You know you're good at influencing, coaching, and connecting — and want to use those skills in a new way.
-
You’re craving a more stable industry (especially when retailers keep announcing layoffs and closures).
-
And you’d really like your nights, weekends, and holidays back.
If this sounds familiar, you’re not alone.
Many of CFS’s top Executive Recruiters nationwide came straight from retail leadership — and they’ve absolutely thrived here.
Why? Because they get to:
✔ Still interact with people
✔ Still influence, coach, and build relationships
✔ Still make a huge impact on careers and companies
…but now with:
- Unlimited earning potential
- A predictable Monday–Friday schedule
- A stable, growing industry
- A career path with real advancement opportunities
- A fresh challenge that keeps them learning and growing
About the Role: Executive Recruiter

-
Manage placements from start to finish, creating successful long-term matches
If you love developing people and connecting them with opportunities, you’ll thrive here.
This role is all about relationships, communication, and impact — not cold calling for sales.
