Senior Project Accountant

Compensation: $80,000 – $100,000

Our client, a growing organization in the Itasca area, is seeking a Senior Project Accountant to support complex project accounting functions. This hybrid role offers strong visibility and ownership over project financials.

Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle project accounting for multiple active projects
Prepare and review lien waivers and ensure compliance with contractual requirements
Support project billing, revenue recognition, and cost tracking
Partner with project managers to monitor budgets and financial performance
Assist with month-end close related to project accounting

Qualifications

5+ years of project accounting experience
Strong experience with lien waivers
Solid understanding of job cost accounting and project billing
Advanced Excel skills preferred
