Junior Project Accountant

Itasca, IL Hybrid
Compensation: $60,000 – $70,000

Our client is looking to add a Junior Project Accountant to their team in Itasca. This hybrid opportunity is ideal for someone early in their accounting career who wants hands-on exposure to project accounting and billing.

Responsibilities

Assist with project billing and invoice preparation
Support project accounting activities, including cost tracking and reporting
Maintain project documentation and support compliance requirements
Assist senior team members with month-end and ad hoc reporting

Qualifications

1–2 years of accounting experience (project accounting or billing required)
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
