Credit & Collections Specialist
Overview
A long‑established organization is seeking an Credit and Collections Specialist to support a major operational transformation. The business is moving from paper‑heavy processes to more structured, scalable systems, and this role will play an important part in building and improving AR functions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys problem‑solving, taking initiative, and contributing to process enhancement.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and reconcile customer accounts on a regular basis.
- Manage daily receipt posting and cash application.
- Prepare journal entries related to AR activity.
- Handle collections, including accounts past 90 days, using a relationship‑driven, solution‑oriented approach.
- Work with recurring customers (primarily service-based relationships with long lifecycles) to clarify billing issues, update contacts, and ensure accurate communication.
- Support the establishment of new AR processes and procedures as the organization modernizes its workflows.

Qualifications
- 2+ years of Accounts Receivable, Credit, and Collections experience required.
