Senior Financial Analyst

$100,000 to $107,000 per year + Bonus +Equity (RSU's)

We are a rapidly growing manufacturing company and are adding a Senior Financial Analyst to our FP&A team. This is a newly created role and the fifth addition to our tight‑knit Finance, Accounting, and Tax group. . It’s a high‑visibility opportunity supporting key business operations while helping build scalable FP&A processes in a fast‑growing environment.

What You’ll Do as a Senior Financial Analyst

  • Support annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, monthly outlooks, and long‑range planning
  • Build and enhance driver‑based financial models for COGS, raw materials, production capacity, and inventory
  • Prepare monthly reporting packages including variance analysis, KPIs, and financial insights for leadership
  • Analyze financial and operational results to identify risks, opportunities, and cost‑saving initiatives
  • Perform detailed actual vs. forecast analysis across COGS, material spend, production variances, and inventory
  • Conduct scenario analysis, sensitivity modeling, and strategic decision support
  • As a Senior Financial Analyst you will lead cost planning, including raw materials analysis, manufacturing cost evaluation, and inventory analytics
  • Partner closely with Supply Chain, Technical Operations, and Procurement to support operational decisions
  • Provide financial input on supplier negotiations, production planning, and make‑vs‑buy evaluations
  • Support automation, process improvements, and operational efficiency initiatives across FP&A
  • Play a key role in implementing Workday, including its Inventory Planning module
  • Work extensively in Excel to build models, tools, and scalable reporting processes

What We’re Looking for in a Senior Financial Analyst

  • 2+ years of FP&A experience with exposure to COGS, manufacturing finance, inventory, or cost analysis OR a Cost Accountants looking to move into FP&A)
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with financial modeling in Excel
  • Ability to translate data into actionable insights and communicate clearly with cross‑functional partners
  • Proactive, curious, and collaborative mindset
