Senior Staff Accountant

Salary: $80,000 – $95,000 + bonus

Key Responsibilities for the Senior Staff Accountant:

• Own the monthly close and reporting process as a Senior Staff Accountant, ensuring timely, accurate financial statements and variance analysis
• Review and prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules while maintaining GAAP compliance as a Senior Staff Accountant
• Serve as a key Senior Staff Accountant partner to external audit and tax providers by preparing audit schedules and supporting annual filings
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial system enhancements as a Senior Staff Accountant, driving efficiency and process improvement

Qualifications for the Senior Staff Accountant:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA or MBA preferred
• Minimum of 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in a Senior Staff Accountant or similar role
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP with advanced Excel skills
• Detail-oriented Senior Staff Accountant with strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
